As London’s largest holiday provision provider, we know that food insecurity affects young people in complex and detrimental ways. We also know that young people are not always able to take advantage of holiday provision. In response to the unique demands of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kitchen Social has evolved its Take & Make recipe box scheme - an innovative way to get young people cooking at home.

Taking inspiration from the recipe kit box phenomenon – Hello Fresh and Mindful Chef – every Take & Make box contains fresh ingredients and step by step instructions on how to make a healthy vegetarian dish for a family of four, along with important skill training cards and online video tutorials starring young Londoners.
